Great chapter! Anakin has his lightsaber, Lira graduated and we got a lot more Anakin and Padme. That conversation between them was very well done, probably one of the best moments between them so far. I know I said that some of the conversations between them in the past felt off and this is such a great improvement, things flowed great and it felt natural. The real gem in this chapter is undoubtedly the look into Padmes efforts on Naboo and its military. I hope we get to see Bibble get arrested and how Padme further crushes opposition.

Z-95 is a natural choice with its hyperdrive and generalized performance not to mention it being a predecessor to famous X-Wing. The connection with Incom will be very useful down the line but they’ll need to watch out as Incoms design teams had strong Rebellion sympathies during the Galactic Civil War and the whole X-Wing team defected and took the X-Wing plans with them. Skipray is a nice chunky bomber and missile boat. I’m not super familiar with the Havoc and the other bomber but I’m sure they’ll do their part and the N1 is always going to be Naboo’s golden child. In terms of warships the Dreadnaught is a galactic mainstay and the upgrades to it are a necessity as it’s very old and the reducing of crew costs is not a question as the base design has a ridiculous manpower cost to operate it. Corellian designs for the smaller patrol and screening ships are always the best choice, fast well armed and versatile in their configurations they’re little ships that move like lightning and punch hard. The Golan-1’s are a natural choice in early space and orbital defense infrastructure and I’m sure done the line getting a proper shipyard down will be happening not to mention large defensive structures like the Validusia or Empress class stations we see in Empire at War mods. I’m honestly really interested in seeing if Naboo could exploit its honeycomb underwater nature and utilize the Gungans to construct ocean based shipyards and other infrastructure like the Quarren and Mon Calamari do on Dac. Underwater ship building can be very useful and efficient with mining under the sea even better as transport is just as easy as being in space to supply them not to mention the fact that such infrastructure will be hidden and very well protected in Naboo’s honeycomb ocean pathways. Honestly while this is something neither the Naboo or even the gungan have experience in the Gungan certainly have some know how for their cities and small craft so maybe bringing in Quarren or Mon Calamari advisors from off world would be the play, Dooku with his expanding connections could be used for the Quarren as Quarren separatist engineers began building the Malevolence in secret on a Quarren colony before the Clone Wars. Utilizing Naboo’s honeycomb worldwide ocean always seem so fascinating to me for mining and ship building which is even more ideal with a native aquatic species already there.

That is an interesting concept. To build ships under Naboo’s ocean. Very interesting.
